Autobiography-By Tri Ajrina

Tri AjrinaWidyati
The Story of My Life

I live with an ordinary family which having so much conflicts inside. Just simple conflicts (but too much) such as brother-sister fight or sister-sister fight (because there’s only one boy in my family). First my brother, the oldest. His stubbornness of postponing his education program and focusing on his band instead, made my parents got mad at first. But finally they gave all the decision to him. The second is older than me but childish more than I do. But after she met the world of college, she became mature and much more independent. The third one is me. And the last is my super childishand selfish younger sister. Six members (plus two cats) without any maid or any driver seemed hard for us. Moreover, we live in Jakarta, a big town with many spoiled inhabitants. But having such situation had toughen me up. I learn a lot about how complicated and difficult life is.
I studied in Al-AzharBintarofor nine years, from playground until 6th grades. I made a lot of friends and it was really fun because I didn’t feel burdened about study or anything. I feel grateful that studied in Islamic school successfully made me use a veil since I was in 5th grades. In the same year, I also found my ability to achieve good grades. The previous year, my scores were completely disaster. So, since that day, I was improving my skills to be better forward.
Studied in Labschool Kebayoran Junior High School perfectly change my life. I learned new things, especially discipline. Study is always be number one about school. But in junior high, I met two precious people in my life. First is my best friend, Avifa. We have many similar things that makes us match to be a good friend up until now. The other one was my first love. His modest and kind personality taught me many things. The first person who accompanied me to take a bus was him. And now, I often take a bus to go home instead of having someone to pick me up. He wasalso obedient to his parents, very oppositewith me. That point sometimes makes me feel guilty if I don’t obey what mom and dad’s words. Just about nine months we spent together, suddenly grew a dense between us. Though we were in the same high school. Finally, I asked him to take a break.
I joined Radjawali softball club in 2011. After a half year practiced at Senayan twice a week, my coach told me to come to Asian Pasific Tournament (APT) selection. Fortunately I passed and joined the tournament. But sadly the rival country didn’t appear at the game day, so Indonesia became the first winner. My team should went to United State for the next stage, World Series, but we thought that we were not ready enough and didn’t get any sponsor or any assistance cost from government, so the plan was cancelled.
The next year, I tried to join APT selection again. It was held in Clark, Philippines. With extra practices and a lot of pray, I could passed and joined the new team. The preparation was so much harderthan the previous year. The problem was I had so many things in my mind and all of them was about national exam. I had to divide my time between softball and exam. So, before the examination, I had to study every day and go to the field at least once a week. Luckily, the tournament held in August. After the examination I practiced almost every day. Our rivals were Philippines and Guam. We played pretty nice, but because we played emotionally and often got tricked by Guam, they finally beat us. About Philippines… they were the strongest in South East Asia, so… please don’t ask about it. Though the weather was extremely hot, it was really fun. I also got some new friends from Surabaya who joined our team. Every dinner time, inside a big hall, people from around Asia and surroundings who joined APT gathered to eat, dance, and sing together. The madness my team was, every night we played at the street and stood on the middle of the road every time there was a car got closer, until one night a security noticed us and we ran away. There were so many pleasant moments with my friends.
I decided to continue my study in LabschoolKebayoran High School. I was in science class at first because the government announced about 2013 curriculum had to choose the subjects since at 10th grade. I enjoyed the class very much, but I realized that I wasn’t fit in that class, it wasn’t about the environment, but I just not interested with the subjects at all. So, three months after studied in science class, I moved to social class. Though I had to catch up the missed lessons, finally I could made it. I really enjoy social class and never regret about this movement although my parents was hesitated.
Student council in Labschool known as a good way to learn about team work and how to become a leader. I joined the selection and fortunately accepted. I love my new class in 11th grade and my student council, BatrawalaDargasatya. Though I’m feeling tired and sometimes getting emotional, I’m always trying to find my way to get back, like listening to music, singing, drawing, playing softball, and many other delightful things that I usually do. I hope in future I will be better, and get bunch of sweet and valuable experiences in my life.
